surgery update
I talked to Dr. Boop's nurse a little while ago. Surgery will be Friday at 11:30. It should last 3-4 hours. They are hoping that they can remove all of it-I hope so! They should know right away if it is high grade or low grade but the exact makeup of the tumor won't be determined for 7-14 days. That will determine the treatment. She didn't know how big the incision will be but they will salvage as much hair as possible. Please continue to pray for her!

ReplyDeleteMorgan and Abby,
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for you little one. God will take care of you and he will wrap his loving arms around you and your family. Just trust in the Lord and he will supply. I love you!
Hi! I am Randy's sister, Tricia Dailey. I have been in continual prayer, since my brother told me about Abby. I am praying that God will give you strength through this extraordinary time in your lives. I am praying for the doctors and nurses who will performing surgery and working with Abby. Thanks for sharing your story on this blog. I have received a blessing just by reading your background information. Praise God! He is wonderful and awesome in the plans that He has for us and how He helps us go through one time to reach another even harder time.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to know who I am, but I do sympathize with you and your family, for we too experienced a traumatic ordeal with our daughter sometime back. Following a brain hemorrhage, she slipped into a coma. We did not know if she would live or die; we had far more questions than answers. We just simply had to turn it all over to God --- we did not know what else to do. Thanks to Christian doctors and nurses, and the prayers of literally thousands of people around the world, our daughter is now living a quite normal life, raising her family, continuing to serve the Lord, all without many side effects of the hemorrhage. Yes, we know the uncertainties of a situation like this, so --- please know that we will be praying for Abby, for her family, and all the medical personnel who will be attending to her over the next many days. May God bless you and strengthen you is my prayer...
ReplyDeleteMorgan and family.....
ReplyDeleteChris and I and our church are praying for you and Abby! I know God will keep his arms around you. I cling to the verse Psalm 56:3 quite often: "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." You know Forrest City is just an hour away from Memphis. I will be there with anything you need, or you and anyone is welcome to come to our house if you ever need a place to stay! Love ya!

We are praying for Abby and all the family. God will be with you all the way. I hope you will feel our prayers giving you strength. God Bless sweet little Abby.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that I am praying for your precious angel and all of you. Keep trusting and leaning on God. He is always in control and will give you the strength to get through this.
ReplyDeleteI am Randy's mother (Kay Russell) and we are praying for Abby and the family! We have put Abby on our prayer list at Highland Hills Baptist, which is our home church! God is an awesome God. Morgan, your testimony made tears come to my eyes..what a wonderful testimony! Yes, God is still performing miracles and that is our prayer for your family! Your little Abby is in good hands and God hears our prayers for your family during this very difficult time and He will not fail! There is some scripture readings that has helped me in difficult decisions and I hope it will help you and your family: Isaiah 43: 2&3: "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD Thy GOD, HOLY ONE of Israel, THY SAVIOUR:..." God always keeps His promises. Another scripture to cling to is I John 5:14 & 15: "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." God is answering prayers for your family now and "little children" (like Abby) have a very special place in God's heart! If this doctor is the son of Dr. Warren Boop which did surgery on me and I think it might be his son..not sure..He is the Best of the Best when it comes to a neurosurgeon! May God Bless and Give you and your family the strength that is needed during this difficult time and may God guide the doctors and the medical people in charge as well! With Love and Prayers, Kay & Bob(Randy's dad).

ReplyDeleteMorgan...I don't know where to start so I will start by saying I love you and I am always here for you and your family. I am praying for lil' Abby... I know that we haven't been close over the years but it is never too late to be what I should have been for you a long time ago. I should have been a better BIG sister to you but had problems of my own. I want to thank you for being there for my Dad when I should have been. He really loves Abby alot, he is a really good PAPA. I am just a phone call away if you ever need me, day or night. I will pass on the power of prayer for lil' Abby. Give her a kiss from her Aunt Mimi and tell her that she has to get better so her and Delaney can come over to Aunt Mimi's house and make cookies. I will be in touch... I love you Morgan...your step-sister Mistie.
ReplyDeleteMorgan...Just wanted to let you know that Chris, myself, my family, and our church are all praying for Abby and your family.
ReplyDeleteMorgan, so sorry to hear about Abby. We just want you to know we are thinking of your family often and praying for her. We don't always understand why things happen as they do but I do know God is always in control. Her angels will be all around her. You all have a lot of people praying on her behalf and that is wonderful! Keep the faith, love Darrell & Linda
ReplyDeleteHello Morgan and Abby and family...I am a friend of a friend and have been passing this message of prayer on... the following is a message from a friend of my sister-in-law in Maumelle, AR.
